The memories are all fake and dementia, especially made as looped narratives and utter software metaphors upon the hardware of the brain. That is all psychotherapy has taught me, beyond always threatening me with a profile of weapons ownership: I own no weapons, I own no weapons, I own no weapons and I am ever transexual free of charge.

Most psychotherapists are poor judges and mediators here: They will not hear most of the memories of their patients.

Psychotherapists select memories for their patients and hope these are embodied. I immediately smirked and became despondent at this process, as the psychotherapist attempted to manipulate my ability to remember without her complete response.

The psychotherapist is a problem even in Severance. Therapy is mostly memory insertions, even in the waking and real world of the Outie. :)

This is so similar to Westworld, as the hosts are completely managed by synthetic memories roleplayed by guests upon them.
