Satellite weaponry. On Mars, as it all came to a close, we shot it all down from satellites. Our final biology on Mars was the satellite, similar to the space shuttle. Our final biology of Maldek was the car. If we choose to go to space when these forms become extinct, Mars wins all the polarity. The cars just turn to miners and gravity feeders. Gross.

Wipeout HD antigravity omens could be Maldekian prophecy but you could throw all of that into space. So it doesn't become either Maldek or Mars. But the weapons are Maldekian due to them being hidden torture especially with the randomization.

Crooks doesn't even know he died. Crooks can't remember he died because I take the bullet for him, because he fears death and I don't. So he gets all the psychiatry stuff in staging.
