In school, I was placed in mostly a patronizing set of pairings with people. Almost matches. The groups never interested me, Ra. And the ones that looked compelling were students in Led Zeppelin outfits, with girlfriends that were kids that looked like adults.

There was no middle. I only wanted to date the girls with rocker boyfriends but I was never that angry.
