Space is technically not sterile. Our biology is just apparently immune and sterile to what lies in space, not perceivable to our biology yet. We create boogeymen such as Dead Space and Isaac Clarke's story, because we want to physically fight a threat. The only reality of Dead Space are the delusions that could eventually lead to increasing disorder. I wish I could say Half-Life is similar, but you cannot disrupt biological systems with fallout that you do not understand.

They won't let the energy of my septic tank become unwound from its title deed, as stored in Vega. They want my septic tank installed in isolated thought war as gravity. I don't know how to help them with that. The County refuses to build sewage facilities and they are not given thought war for that.
